Here at seednet we aim to please, our team of experts have been in the seedbox / server business for over 7 years and we expect to be around for many more.

We're still working on the site, but we're pleased to announce a new seedbox blog we're running which will be covering the latest news and innovations in the world of seedboxes such as new client frontends, backends, operating systems and more..

What's a seedbox?
So you want to know what all this fuss is about? Well you've come to the right place.

A seedbox is a personal server where you can download torrents on a super fast connection, store them, then when you're ready download them to your personal computer at the maximum speed possible.

We believe a seedbox is more than just a box to download torrents to/from. Here at seednet we treat our seedboxes as actual servers, but we make it simple enough for anyone to use. Our seedboxes for example come with full root (super user) access the ability to setup and manage your own websites, dns, email and much much more though a simple interface..

We're also driving innovation, afterall we are developers.. This means we are constantly upgrading our seedboxes and our seedbox plans in order to have the latest torrent software and added extras.

There has been much publicity over the last few months on the risks of downloading torrents on a home connection, we promise customers complete privacy and offer encryption standards which mean you can feel completely safe. Here are some of the things we are planning on adding to our seedbox plans during the coming weeks;

  • VPN access
  • SSL encryption on all torrent clients
  • More options for FTP encryption (Currently SFTP)
  • Other security considerations..
